What is Taffakur Ma'a Anous?

It is an educational contemplative, creative, and moral-value-based curriculum aimed at nurturing and building a creative and ethical personality capable of actively contributing to societal development. This is achieved through the development of spiritual, psychological, intellectual, and behavioral domains, based on unique traditional and modern methods.

The curriculum draws on the authenticity of contemplation, ethical values, and identity. It also incorporates the latest theories of the era and their applications, particularly in the fields of brain research, creativity, and intelligence. By integrating both traditional and contemporary approaches, the curriculum aims to foster a well-rounded individual who is capable of navigating the challenges of the modern world while staying rooted in timeless principles.

The scientific theories that the curriculum is based on

  • Theory of Brain-Based Learning

  • Theories of Self-Esteem Development

  • Theory of Emotional Intelligence

  • Barbara Clark's Model of Creativity

  • Theory of Multiple Intelligences

  • Strategies for Creative and Critical Thinking

  • Innovative Model of Teaching Thinking

The curriculum is based on the theory of brain-based learning

The curriculum was designed to be fully aligned with the theory of brain-based learning and neuroscience. This theory emphasizes that education should develop students' intelligence and stimulate their intrinsic motivation. This is achieved by providing environmental stimuli that are in harmony with the brain, which in turn facilitates the formation of neural connections in the brain.

This connection in the brain requires the provision of a positive environment that stimulates the release of serotonin, the "happiness hormone," necessary for the formation of these connections. Over time, this leads to the growth of the cerebral cortex, rich in neural connections, which in turn produces creative and ethical behavior.

The program aims to develop the brain comprehensively, both in its right and left hemispheres. This is achieved through the development of multiple intelligences, fostering creative and critical thinking, as well as nurturing emotional and spiritual intelligence. By enhancing these aspects, the program facilitates the holistic development of students, stimulating their intrinsic motivation and enabling them to excel and innovate.

The curriculum is an intuitive and creative program that engages the heart and mind

  • The curriculum is distinguished by its focus on emotional objectives, which are achieved within the lessons through strategies that promote thinking, creativity, and intelligence.

  • Additionally, its design is characterized by being a sequential and cumulative spiral curriculum across its six levels, from the first level to the sixth level, aiming to build the creative and ethical personality by reinforcing the seven creative traits and the seven ethical traits.

  • The concept of civilization-building in the thinking curriculum is presented to students as a bird that soars with both wings: the wing of creativity and the wing of ethics. If either wing fails to fly, the bird will be hindered from soaring.

The creative and ethical characteristics that will emerge in the student after the course of thinking include:
